Choosing the best women's perfume
Choosing a women's perfume that lasts all day
Perfumes with a higher concentration of fragrance oils last longer. For instance, an eau de parfum formulated at 25% will always be stronger than an eau de toilette at 10%. At Sentir, we're all about making perfumes that last. We formulate all of our scents with a higher concentration of fragrance oil (25-30%), so you can enjoy your scent all day long! Whether you're headed to work, out for a night on the town, or just running errands, our perfumes will keep you feeling fresh and fabulous.
What are perfume notes?
When you first spritz on a perfume, you might only smell one dominant fragrance. However, that perfume is actually made up of different notes, each of which emits a certain smell.
Top note. The first and most noticeable note is the top note. The top note sets the tone for the perfume and is usually light and sharp-smelling.
Middle note. After a few minutes, the middle notes start to come out. Middle notes add depth and complexity to the perfume, and they often smells floral or fruity.
Base note. Lastly, the base notes start to emerge. Base notes anchor the perfume and provide a long-lasting scent. Together, these different notes create a perfume that is greater than the sum of its parts.
